Explanation[edit]

it laks in explainging what game is it!

How about info on the xbox-linux exploit this game is used at? added 26.4.2006

Sorry[edit]

I'm still working on it.

better on WikiBooks?[edit]

I think this type of article may be better suited to WikiBooks (e.g. at Video Game Walkthroughs: XBox) than WikiPedia... --Hooverbag 14:33, 2004 Nov 14 (UTC)

I trimmed out the "how to" and strategy recommendations. If someone wants to use the old content in WikiBooks, they can copy it from the history. --Mrwojo 01:12, 4 Jan 2005 (UTC)

To-do[edit]

Here are some recommendations for how to make this a better article:

  • Needs more context established in setting. What relation does this article have to MechWarrior, BattleTech, and all that?
  • The article has a lot of lists for weapons, 'Mechs, maps, and so on. Are they all necessary?
  • Anything else notable about this game? I guess it sold well, since there's a sequel.

--Mrwojo 01:12, 4 Jan 2005 (UTC)

If someone who knows the games well wants to address Mrwojo's first point above. This article will REALLY help in that endevor. You can use it as a reference for details and what not: [1] --Naha|(talk) 17:48, July 11, 2005 (UTC)

I Like It[edit]

I really liked all the info about weapons and Mechs. But as Mrwojo said, it would be nice to have a little history as to the creation of the series like MechWarrior BattleTech.. etc.

Sources[edit]

To put it simply this article needs to be cited and have refrences for all of the information.

if not done it will be eventually tagged.--Pfc Ender 18:53, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A little work[edit]

This article is fine and all but it seems like something you would find in a stratagy book rather than an encyclopidia article on the game.

Instead of focusing on the aspect of multiplayer and Xbox Live Capabilites you should focus a little more on the game itself such as explaining the origigns such as battletech how the whole project came about that way this article dosent seem xbox live biased that way people looking for this article have a better understanding of the game rather the cool things you can download off xbox live only if you know what i mean--Pfc Ender 18:58, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you want more information on what i think would help this article get to me by my talk page and I will get back to you ASAP.--Pfc Ender 19:00, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Xbox 360 (In)Compatibility[edit]

Well, we couldn't get it to work on 360, and it's not on the compatibility list (Sorry, I don't have the link) so I think we need to add it, if someone else can verify it.

Hate to disappoint you, but it's been rumored that they're going to make this an XBOX Live Marketplace download, and NOT make previous versions of this game backwards compatible (more than likely because of the XBOX-Linux exploit on original discs - which, in the hands of people who realize their true value, they have no control over).
