Untitled[edit]

Westerville isn't for everyone. It's completely flat and uninteresting architecturally. The city landmarks consistent of a cluster of spinster shops, a couple of strip malls and a sort of "Catolicatropolis" that houses a diocese so successful that it has built three churches. Only the Columbus city water reservoir and some surrounding forests give it some character. However, Westerville is a great place for families and has attracted a diverse bunch. In contrast to many of Columbus' more snooty suburbs, Westerville has a good blend of middle class families and above, black and white. The public schools are great and the cost of living is very reasonable. In recent years, Easton and Polaris have nestled themselves on the thoroughfairs north and south of Westerville giving the city great access to generic shopping and dining. Also, Westerville is close to a lot of great golf courses and two country clubs. The commute time to Columbus downtown is about 20 minutes each way.

I was born and raised in Westerville but moved to the East Coast after college.

On the whole, Westerville is a stupendous town with a rich culture that is the perfect amalgam of the metropolis of Columbus and the neighboring agrarian lifestyle. Having experienced life in New Jersey for the past few months, I can tell you that New Jersey and the east coast pales in comparison to Westerville, Columbus, the state of Ohio and the Midwest in general.

No water?[edit]

Article states that "None of the area is covered with water." Is the Hoover Memorial Reservoir not considered water?

Fair use rationale for Image:Everal Barn in Heritage Park winter.jpg[edit]

Image:Everal Barn in Heritage Park winter.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Lock?[edit]

We may want to consider locking this article due to multiple instances of vandalism. For examples, reference the many changes in notable people. In the case of the two rock bands listed, they did not meet established standards for notability, so they were removed. 69.47.55.241 (talk) 10:36, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Inserting non-notable things into lists is not vandalism (see Wikipedia:Vandalism), it is just unencyclopedic. This article actually has a pretty low rate of such. And anyway, bands for whom articles exist (as the two you removed to) are presumed to be notable. If the bands were not notable, then they should not have article at all (see Wikipedia:Notability). --  Glenfarclas  (talk) 23:06, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
