Untitled[edit]

This pages confounds grants made by private charities and government funding mechanisms. Should this be split into two pages, there is a lot of stuff that could go on a grants page, especially now that Wikimedia Foundation exists. Alex756 14:16, 23 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Small Business Grants[edit]

What are the odds that someone has first hand, QUALITY, knowledge in regard to the detailed process of applying for and obtaing a Small Business Grant?

Small Business Start-up Grants[edit]

My business partner and I have been searching for weeks to find grants for small business capital. Does anyone know how we can find a Grant Researcher in the Chicagoland area —Preceding unsigned comment added by Deborahspiegel (talkcontribs) 19:25, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

External links controversies - can we reach an end?[edit]

I've noticed for the past several months that most of the edits to this article are simply additions to the External Links, followed by reverts, followed by more additions of links, followed by more reverts. Surely we can discuss this and reach an end to this silliness. I'm too busy at the moment to trek through Wikipedia policies at the moment, but I'm sure the article shouldn't be used to promote anything - however I see nothing wrong with awareness. We should discuss a criterion for inclusion in External Links - and how inclusive/exclusive do we wish to be? Pretty much every federal funding opportunity can be found via Grants.gov, so I see no true reasons to include an entire laundry list of URLs to secondary databases - those can be mentioned on the different entities' articles I think.

Furthermore, any grant writers here? I write grants for my university as a graduate assistant. John Shandy`talk 18:20, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
