I have moved the article to the 'Railway' name, as that appears to have been the official name. Go to [1] (compiled from Poor's and Moody's manuals) and type in "Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis". --SPUI (talk) 13:49, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Greg Asche Needs To Contact Me[edit]

To Greg Asche - since you appear to be somewhat touchy about someone improving upon your handiwork, you might want to consider the fact that I am the author of TWO copyrighted history books about this particular railroad.

Not to be snotty, but I'll be happy to go toe to toe with you or anyone else about the history of this railroad. You were materially off on several salient points and that is why I edited your page. Additionally the link you gave for that L&N/NC&StL Yahoo Group is laughable because it really is an L&N list and not an NC list - there are three separate NC-only lists.

My grandfather worked for the NC&StL for 43 years and use to run #576 between Atlanta and Chattanooga on the Atlanta Division.

So google my name "Dain Schult" and I believe you'll see that I have the chops to make the edits I did. I am the President of the NC&StL Preservation Society, Inc. You can find out more information about the Society, 576, my books and everything else at www.ncstl.com.
