Untitled[edit]

Where is it from (what country)? "Republican" will have a very different meaning depending on the answer! -- Jmabel 23:20, 1 Jun 2004 (UTC) This Newspaper is from Belfast, Nothern Ireland. The term "republican" refers to Nothern Irish (and Southern Irish) people who believe in a "united" Ireland. Bias[edit]

I have removed the word it bold as the letter was not made public, therefore the word is not accurate:

The newspaper was satirised in the Portadown News website as The Angrytown News. The Andersonstown News contacted the employers of Newton Emerson (the creator of Portadown News) with a list of exaggerated complaints about the site - resulting in Mr Emerson being forced out of his job.
