WikiUser 20:46, 17 Sep 2004 (UTC) - I started an article for Charlie Peace, but if it's worth having these strips explained maybe my stub and the other articles about the comic strips should all be put on a single page. - WikiUser 20:46, 17 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Buster is still popular in Sweden, though it is mainly a football/soccer comics magazine here. One of its most popular cstaple fare throughout the time is the british(?) comic Super-Mac(?) starring a giant scottish football player who always destroys the goals wuth his "Great Cannon" shot. Does anyone know about this comic?

Hmmm, appears like his british name was "Hot Shot" Hamish Balfour, but for some reason, he was always best known in swedish as "Super"-Mac Mahoney... Oh, well...

I think this article and article about Swedish Buster should be separated as they are not same magazine. Maybe Buster (sport) would be good name for it. Kahkonen 10:59, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ronald 'Nobby' Clark was the original script-writer for the Buster's Diary strip (along with other strips and following on from his work for Knockout. The original artist was Bill Titcombe. Not long after its launch, around 1961-2 (to be checked) the Catalan cartoonist Angel Nadal working for the Bardon Art agency and working from Barcelona and Cadaques became the regular artist and continued up until the early 1970s. --Chrisleeclark (talk) 21:35, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
