The body of this article was added by an anonymous editor. I had added the B&D; then added the unreferenced tag. I hope this editor will finish their work by adding sources. -- Michael David 01:03, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So, was he gay?[edit]

I am surprised that he was not accused of being gay. He wrote a poem about teenage love for boys (https://www.bartleby.com/103/158.html, entitled Romance), and he lived with Siegfried Sassoon for a time, and Sassoon was known as bisexual.

On the other hand, the poem may be just written from a girl's point of view, and he was married when he lived with Sassoon. So... eh? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.249.226.41 (talk) 23:09, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Birth year?[edit]

The lede gives his birth-year as 1889. But he is listed under the category '1884 births'. One of them must be wrong. Valetude (talk) 05:20, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
