On 28th August 2004 Wolfman removed the following remark from the article on Sultan Ismail: (rv "fat" -- assume POV intent given anon ip's recent edit history and vandalism warnings)

I would like to comment that the remark is NOT vandalism as I have seen pictures of the late ruler and he is INDEED FAT as described by the anonymous user.

Paragraph repealed[edit]

I repealed the following paragraph:

"After the death of his mother, however, it was rumoured that the Raja Muda, the future Sultan Iskandar, went around Johor to slap people who did not wear a black band on their sleeves or white band on their songkoks, a sign of respect for the royal deceased."

From what my Johorean friends mentioned, I was aware of this incident as I was working in Johor at the time of the incident. Nevertheless, however tempted we want to put up facts, I would encourage that we can cite credible sources--books or newspapers--as per Wikipedia:Reliable sources. Until then, however tempting I cannot put it up. Even then, this would be more relevant for Sultan Iskandar of Johor given that he supposedly did the deed.
