Change 'Kfar Etzion massacre where around 120-150 defenders' to 'Kfar Etzion massacre where around 120-150 residents,' the specifics are debated but multiple sources have confirmed people who were hiding weaponless or had surrendered were murdered. 68.34.29.140 (talk) 20:58, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. L293D ( • ) 22:02, 6 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Morris estimation of casualties[edit]

In his book, Morris says the Palestinians suffered "slightly higher, or much higher," than the Israeli losses. The current text leaves out the last three words. Mcdruid (talk) 08:53, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In the line about how many Arabs died, Benny Morris is stated as claiming "The number of victims on the Arab side is unclear, but according to Benny Morris, it might have been slightly higher." In the actual book, Morris says: "Palestinian losses, in civilians and armed irregulars, are unclear: they may have been slightly higher, or much higher, than the Israeli losses. (Morris 2008, pg. 528). Total Arab losses is higher: he goes on to mention "Egyptian losses, according to an official Egyptian announcement made in June 1950, amounted to some fourteen hundred dead and 3,731 "permanently invalided."27 The Jordanian, Iraqi, and Syrian armies each suffered several hundred dead, and the Lebanese suffered several dozen killed." I checked the source and you are correct so I added the extra words. Zerotalk 12:36, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
