If you're not going add another column, such as president(s) served under/appointed by, then I suggest moving it to bullet point form to avoid the html. For example:

It seems like it would be good to add information on how the ambassador can be appointed, and how long the appointement lasts. Didn't Representative Geraldine Anne Ferraro (D-NY) serve as a UN Ambassador for Bill Clinton. Shouldn't she be added?

US ambassadors to other UN agencies[edit]

We should also cover US ambassadors to other UN offices, like the UN offices in Geneva and Vienna. I believe they are also Senate-confirmed and hold full ambassador rank. Wl219 07:07, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Table's messed up[edit]

It makes it appear, for example, as Dag Hammarskjöld served as Secretary-General from 1947–1961, when in reality he served from 1953–61. If one Ambassador served during the terms of multiple Secretaries-General, the table should reflect that. António Guterres was Secretary-General for only the final weeks of Samantha Power's term, but it makes it seem like he served for all four years she was in office. I'm pretty sure there's a way to stagger the entries so that it doesn't look as if they started at the halfway point into someone's tenure (i.e. stagger it so that for example Guterres started just barely at the end of Power's tenure), but I currently can't recall what the markup looks like. Wrong flag[edit]

I think that the wrong flag is shown for this article. US ambassadors to entities that aren't nations use an ambassadorial flag which is white with blue stars, not the the blue ambassadorial flag which is currently in the article.
