Introduction[edit]

The article states that the Scottish Glomgold was introduced in Duck Tales in 1987. However, I distinctly remember appearances of Glomgold (or rather, Mac Moneysac, as the character was named in German translations) wearing a kilt and being from Scotland in stories I read as a kid years before the Duck Tales (late seventies, early eighties). So far, I couldn't find anything on Google, but I think the 1987 date is incorrect. Does anybody know more than me? -- Ferkelparade π 07:51, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)

The German name "Mac" does also sound very Scottish, by the way. 惑乱 分からん * \)/ (\ (< \) (2 /) /)/ * 23:40, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In these brazilian and portuguese stories, he is know as "Pao-duro Mac-Monei" at least since December 1981 (I have this book - published December 1981 - and he is named "Mac-Monei")194.65.151.249 (talk) 11:08, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

'Black beret with a red pom pom'?[edit]

Am I the only one who thinks his hat looks a LOT more like a tam o'shanter (and would also fit in with his Scottish background from the animated films)? --Joffeloff 00:55, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Beagle Boys/Glomgold[edit]

The animated section mentions the Beagle Boys as unaffiliated to Glomgold in the previous comics, but I know of atleast one occasion in the comics where he has hired them —Preceding unsigned comment added by Horus86 (talkcontribs) 04:23, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rosa, Rosa, Rosa[edit]

Just spent forever fixing the worst problems with this article: it read like it had been written by Don Rosa's proud mother. Everyone, please try to 1) stick to the facts, 2) stick to *actual* facts and 3) not only stick to facts that somehow involve Don Rosa. 85.81.82.15 (talk) 01:14, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

'Flitheart Glomgold's heritage'[edit]

The wiki states that he was initially from Limpopo in South Africa, but Limpopo was only formed in 1994, four years after the animate series ended. Am I missing something here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thepuddleboy (talkcontribs) 13:28, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Flitheart Glomgold made his debut in Carl Barks' 1956 comic The Second-Richest Duck, and in this story he lives in the Valley of the Limpopo. --Newblackwhite (talk) 22:37, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
