earlier discussion[edit]

According to www.freemantlemedia.com, the company is called FreemantleMedia, not Freemantle Media. This page should be renamed to reflect that. — 81.132.3.232 21:08, 18 Jan 2005 (UTC)

I meant Fremantle, not Freemantle. Whatever, point still stands. — 81.132.3.232 21:12, 18 Jan 2005 (UTC)
I moved the page. Anyone looking for "Fremantle Media" will be redirected to "FremantleMedia." Iowahwyman 18:08, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)

FremantleMedia to join Sony[edit]

Why don't FremantleMedia just merge with Sony Pictures? King Shadeed 18:41, 2 June 2006

FremantleMedia Update[edit]

I have asked Fremantle to update their own company information as the current text is just a copy of the about us from the web siteBlenx 13:26, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That would violate WP:COI if the article needs to be cleaned up then it should be done an editor following WP:STYLE, WP:RS and WP:V policies Gnangarra 13:47, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Add Critisizm Section[edit]

There needs to be a Critisizm section. From what I heard, FremantleMedia has been critisized by many Goodson-Todman game show fans because Fremantle has been changing the formats; therefore lowering that show's ratings. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.240.204.117 (talk) 01:07, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

how about a new version of now you see it game show —Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.216.160.12 (talk) 00:43, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Name[edit]

How did the name, "Fremantle" come about? Is it related to the city?203.171.199.103 (talk) 08:11, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Almost 5 years later, this still isn't explained. 91.84.84.173 (talk) 16:55, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral point of view?[edit]

I saw this in the article:

"FremantleMedia has an outstanding global network with operations in 25 countries. We create over 8,500 hours of programming a year, roll out more than 60 formats and air 400 programmes a year worldwide. Our distribution arm FremantleMedia International also distributes more than 20,000 hours of content in over 200 territories."

This makes me think that FremantleMedia possibly edited the page to reflect its business interests. It also expelled the taste of neutrality when reading this article. Goose2000 (talk) 00:40, 14 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This article should merge with Pearson television. 69.92.186.111 (talk) 22:11, 1 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
