General[edit]

I have edited and expanded this article by incorporating information about John Thomas from the Christadelphians page. Two external links have been removed, because they contain information about the Christadelphians, not specifically about John Thomas, and are therefore better suited for the Christadelphian page. A link to an article about Christadelphian history has been added RJB 16:30, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I have deleted both external links. The first gave no other information than was already contained in the article; the second was a link to a general site, not specificially to Thomas's works. RJB 22:12, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Added some internal links (to try to direct people to other articles to help explain certain terms, etc., in this article). Removed external link to a Dawn Christadelphian website (again, a general page (about who the Christadelphians are), not specificially a link to Thomas' works, etc.), and added "Also see" section to direct people to more information about Christadelphians and Thomas' work. Unnecessary deletions/reversions[edit]

Recently there have been a series of what I would consider unnecessary deletions of text from this article, from the "Legacy" section. Perhaps we could talk about the issue(s) here, instead of descending into a "deletion war". Woofboy (talk) 16:34, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thomas' Legacy[edit]

I have added a very brief mention of Thomas' predictions re Israel and Great Britain. As the article stood it only mentioned those minor events that did not come to pass. I would like to add more to this section when I have time as Bro. Thomas was right on the mark regarding several key events and nations that are now proven in history to us (Turkey, US, Russia, etc). 'have seemed to prove accurate'[edit]

What's this supposed to mean?

However, Thomas' expositions on a future state of Israel and the role Great Britain would play in it's statehood[9] have seemed to prove accurate.

It is a reference to Thomas' writings about Israel and the UK in books such as Elpis Israel. Prior to that little addition, the article didn't give any mention to his writings on a future Jewish state. Without mention of this, the article hardly gave justice to Thomas's legacy. If you feel the sentence is awkward it is because I was trying to keep the language objective. I would like to expand on it a bit but have been busy. Bibliography[edit]

Not all of Brother Thomas' books have been detailed (Anastasis for example), is this for a reason? Jond89 (talk) 16:20, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to add any that were left outWintrlnd (talk) 17:37, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've added a few I noted down, will add more at some point with their publication dates. Jond89 (talk) 10:53, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
