This needs to be a disambiguation[edit]

I agree that the term "Provo" should be a disambiguation page. A quick search by "Provo" on google[1] will show that Provo as a US city of 200,000 people is the general usage, and that Provo as a minimally historical movement within the IRA is regional slang at best. The page for Provo should be a disambiguation page, referring to both. Leaving it as it stands is like taking "New York" and writing an article solely about the newest part of Yorkshire! In my opinion, this probably should link directly to Provo, Utah (even though it actually has closer to 100,000 residents). Not that Wikipedia is an international encyclopedia. Brigham Young University is hardly special, the only claim to fame is that it is the olders Mormon university. Arnoutf (talk) 20:52, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Provos[edit]

Another article on the same subject, by User:Jvd, has cropped up at Provos. I've turned it into a redirect. The article's English is confusing, but there are a few sentences that might be worth adding to this article, if anyone knowledgeable knows what they're getting at. They are:

  • Its rebellious but happy attitude was taken over [after it was disbanded] bij De Kabouters (The Goblins) and the squat movement.
  • The White House Plan [another White plan] proposed to appropriate unused houses.
  • Also it was the initiator of the anti-authoritarian playgroups.

Craigslist links to this entry as if it were for Provo,UT[edit]

For that reason, it should probably refer to the city.

He means Craigslist, a popular American classifieds service-cum-forum. That's a pretty shoddy argument, though: "A website links to this page as if it were Provo, Utah, therefore this page should be Provo, Utah." 24.199.75.155 07:27, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
