Frida[edit]

Was she called Frida on the Ring Ring album? I thought I read somewhere that she was called "Anni-Frid" on this album and then "Frida" later (I think Waterloo). Mike H (Talking is hot) 16:00, September 2, 2005 (UTC)

I researched it and "Frida" sure is correct (although I found more "Anna" and "Frieda" versions). Mike H (Talking is hot) 05:14, September 4, 2005 (UTC)
Yes, she was billed as Frida on the original album. In Scandinavia, on all singles up to and including the original release of Ring Ring, the group was bill as Bjorn & Benny, Agnetha & Anni-Frid. The Ring Ring LP, later pressings of the Ring Ring single and later releases before Waterloo, she was billed as Frida. On Waterloo the group was originally billed as "ABBA (Bjorn, Benny, Agnetha & Frida)".211.30.184.252 23:48, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Cover of Ring Ring[edit]

I am a bit of an ABBA fan, and I have noticed that the cover picture used for this album is actually the cover of the Ring Ring Single, and not the cover of the actual album. Can someone please fix this up as I do not know how to. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rudolf Ondrich (talkcontribs) 09:21, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That's the right cover. Trust me. However, I have a rare budget reissue CD from Australia with a 1978 photo. A couple other early reissues there have different covers taken later in their career.Sposato (talk) 02:55, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:ABBA - People Need Love.ogg[edit]

Image:ABBA - People Need Love.ogg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Charts?[edit]

Did this album not reach the charts in any country? By the way, are there any reviews available to be put into these album articles, or at least quotes? --Tuzapicabit (talk) 04:28, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Now there is chart placings. But strange is that ABBA discography has no entry for Norwegian chart, yet this has #2. And there is also #32 for New Zealand, here nothing. 85.217.42.200 (talk) 14:25, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
