History[edit]

For me, I think Sullivan County should have a history section given its location in the state.96.3.74.7 (talk) 03:30, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.

Mob justice for elephants?[edit]

The only reason this place is known outside of America is when a mob of 2,500 local peasants chanted 'Let's kill the elephant!' after 'Murderous Mary' threw a hobo off her back who hooked her mouth with a metal hook with where she had an infected tooth - after being shot five times by an onlooker who took it upon himself to randomly shoot the animal and later shipped by rail the next day to be hung by chains from the neck twice (after the circus owner decided a 'public execution' was the only way to please the township's leaders who claimed the circus could never return otherwise), the animal was left to die hanging from a 100t railway derrick. It might be worth mentioning, as it literally is the only notable thing about this place outside of the US as I said. 124.190.207.57 (talk) 13:56, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
