rename this[edit]

Would anyone object if I renamed this to "List of historical physicians" as per WikiPedia naming conventions? - MGM 08:50, May 11, 2004 (UTC)

I went with just "list of physicians", no obvious reason to make separate lists of past and present people. Stan 08:27, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Carl Warburg[edit]

I have added Carl Warburg to this article list. I trust this is appropriate--Roland Sparkes (talk) 14:51, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hans Asperger[edit]

Was listed twice. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.209.212.103 (talk) 21:17, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ramón y Cajal[edit]

I have added Ramón y Cajal for his key development of what is today called the neuron doctrine. Hope he is worth it. --Egregio1 (talk) 01:11, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Galen[edit]

I added Hippocrates, and Galen. How could the two most famous physicians of antiquity be left off this list?

I removed Magnus of Nisibis, Julian (orders xenones built), and Cassius Felix of Cirta. I cannot find any external information about any of these three. I also cannot find any definition for the word "xenones". I am sure it is not English, unless it is a highly restricted technical term. Before placing any of these back into this list, I request that you create their Wikipedia page, with enough information to make it clear why they are "notable" and deserve to be in this list. Please be sure to translate "xenone" from into plain English. Thanks,
