Untitled[edit]

I have bought a few horses from an auction barn in Houston Texas. I know there are some illegal activities surrounding the sale of the horses but I did not find out until after I had gotten the horses home. I discovered the coggins test papers had been switched with other horses. There was one that I bought which had a Louisana coggins test paper. Two or three of the horses were misrepresented severly in order to sell them. I am a police officer and would rather stay on the right side of the law. What do I need to do to get someone to investigate the Cullen Blvd Auction Barn and specifically Mr Les Ray, who is the owner of the sale barn, and his illegal choice of business practices?

Not exactly the proper place to address this, but serious nonetheless. Start by contacting the state agriculture department. They will then contact the Federal authorities governing the interstate sale of animals. Bugguyak 23:41, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You need to contact the Federal vet in TX...AKA the AVIC...Your AVIC is Dr Hillman, this is the number for the TX AVIC number: (512) 719-0700 Falsifying coggins test results is a federal offense.Onewhoknowsabit (talk) 23:26, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
