Untitled[edit]

Please correct the slang in this article. Referring to nene as dumb, and javale mcgee as a knucklehead has no factor at all in the denver-washington trade. Please and thank you.

Image:DEN 5751.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Team Colors[edit]

Why do the team colors not include light blue? The home jerseys, away jerseys, team logo, and arena floor all include it. Is light blue not officially a team color? -LesPaul75talk 06:09, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

The Denver Rockets are the exact same team. They only changed their name in anticipation of the ABA-NBA merger. See here for further discussion.oknazevad (talk) 03:47, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There's a lot of solid info already on the Rockets. Merging it with The Nuggets would just make everything on that page more crowded. Take the Seattle SuperSonics and Oklahoma City Thunder situation for example. we're not going to merge those two just because they are basically the exact same team with a different name. Str8cash (talk) 19:59, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thats precisely why they should be merged. The Sonics/Thunder is a horrible example, because not only did the team move (which the now-Nuggets never did), but the Sonics franchise got the Cleveland Browns treatment (technically the Thunder are an expansion team). This is far more akin to the [[Washington Bullets/Washington Wizards, which are the same article. Sorry, but there's no justification to keep the articles separate. oknazevad (talk) 16:22, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Doug Moe number[edit]

In the retired numbers section, Doug Moe's number is listed as 432. This must be a mistake, but I can't be sure which digit needs to be removed. Hopefully someone does. fdsTalk 01:42, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for you question. The number is the number of wins that Moe had as head couch of the Nuggets (which is stated in parentheses next to his name BTW) and is correct. You can find this at several websites including this one [1]. Also, if you are ever watching a game at the Pepsi Center and the camera pans to the retired numbers you will also see confirmation of the number in the article. Nikola Jokić[edit]

The first mention (outside the lead) of Nikola Jokić is under the 2015–present: The Nikola Jokić era and first NBA championship subheading, which isn't an issue in itself. However, the sentence first talking about Jokić is not until the second paragraph of that section: Under Michael Malone's leadership, the Denver Nuggets slightly started to improve while primarily relying on the youth movement consisting of Emmanuel Mudiay, Nikola Jokić, Gary Harris and later also on the recovered Jusuf Nurkić. There's nothing about him actually getting drafted and joining the team. It just seems odd to have a section dedicated to his "era" and not include this detail. Granted, he was drafted in 2014, so it might make more sense to have it the previous section, but it should still be there somewhere. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 13:46, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks to 2607:FEA8:A5DF:E980:F93C:6888:D20D:C448 for adding it. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 13:22, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
