Sources[edit]

"Giorgio da Sebenico, a great constructor and sculptor participated in the development of the urban plan." - I was under the impression that Juraj Dalmatinac was lead on the urban plan.

Biased Statements[edit]

"sentenced Pag to a centuries-long life under the Venetian rule." - this is a biased statement.

Organization of the Page[edit]

The "Economy" section is really more about the island not the town. The island has its own page.

I would like to see a whole section on Tourism. We could add information about guest houses, restaurants and entertainment on the Riva and in the town square.

Paška čipka[edit]

The picture http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Pag_Cathedral_with_Local_Lace_-_Pag_-_Croatia.jpg does not appear to be čipka. The threads appears to be much too large as well as the lace appears to be wrinkled. Čipka would not be wrinkled as it is quite stiff and is made from thread not yarn. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrdvt92 (talkcontribs) 15:43, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ludwig I?[edit]

In the History section of this article, there is a sentence which reads:

"After the rebellion against Zadar, Pag obtained partial autonomy, and Ludwig I acknowledged its full autonomy in 1376 as to all other Dalmatian towns."

Problem is, there appears to be more than one "Ludwig I," and I have not been able to determine which "Ludwig I" is the one referenced in this article.

Is it possibly Louis I of Hungary? (Louis is the French form of Ludwig) The time period seems right, as does the location, but I'm not 100% sure.

Can anyone with more expertise in this area clarify who this person is, and where the link is supposed to go?

Yes, it is. (Silly king names and their endless permutations.) --Shallot 08:16, 8 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Thanks, Shallot, for clarifying that and fixing the link. Kevyn 23:35, 8 Jul 2004 (UTC)
