Flag[edit]

I have removed the flag, File:Flag of Castor.png, from the infobox, because I believe it to be erroneous. The grant of arms to the Town of Castor by the Canadian Heraldic Authority, dated 15 August 2011, also grants to Castor a flag of the arms: Per pale wavy Azure and Or two beavers sejant respectant countercharged. I cannot find any primary sources indicating that File:Flag of Castor.png is genuinely the flag of Castor, and Flags of the World, from where the flag is sourced, provides no indication of the purported flag's history or use, filling the so-called description of the flag with general information about Castor itself.

I feel that unless there can be found reliable references to File:Flag of Castor.png's use, it should not be included in the article. Mnmazur (talk)

With the image being uploaded in 2008, it is totally possible that was the flag then. The beaver is certainly a symbol for the village, as seen here and here. 117Avenue (talk) 03:58, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
