Untitled[edit]

Borrowed group description and members from Rolling Stone. Does this end the factual dispute? DJ Clayworth 17:04, 10 Nov 2003 (UTC)

I removed the following sentence (the second time, already removed the same sentence a couple weeks ago, but was reinserted):

the sound to the latest cd, MFZB, is one that would seemingly be influenced by Goldfinger with the punky rifts

Reasons I removed it:

  • It's not exactly elegant English.
  • MFZB is not the latest album anymore.
  • "the punky rifts" (hint: correct word is riff) are not exactly an invention of Goldfinger, so I think it's a bit far-fetched to call the album influenced by Goldfinger on that basis alone.

I understand Zebrahead is a good band, but they didn't have to be featured on a Sonic game. How I see things now is that in order to appeal Sonic The Hedgehog to the youth, you need music that would appeal them. Apparently, rapcore is the only way to appeal the youth now-a-days. (Think of Knuckles' themes ever since Sonic Adventure 2.) However, as long as there's a punk/pop/rock background with the artist/group singing a theme to a character or the Sonic game itself, I will be satisfied. Should it be zebrahead?[edit]

Every time it is shown on Albums, and in their logo in general, the Z is lowercase. Should the band be known as 'zebrahead' or 'Zebrahead'? the pillows use lowercase in their group name, so it's not unheard of. Take a look at Zebrahead's official website: http://www.zebrahead.tv/ - the title of the page is an uppercase Z, as is every use of the word on the site. Despite their logo being all lowercase, the article name is correct. Ezenden 15:25, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ali on Guitar[edit]

Since I'm not really firmilar with Wiki's requirements and rules I don't know if it's something that should be added, but I think it should be mentioned somewhere that Ali not only knows how to play the guitar but when Justin was in the band Ali played the guitar along side Greg in Justin's place while playing Playmate of the Year. References and cleanup[edit]

While a good start, this article cites zero references and has a lot of NPOV language in it. While it's not at risk for deletion in its current state, it needs a lot of work. I also removed the members' roles from the infobox (according to the standards) and listed the "Current Members" section in a fashion more appropriate for band articles. Cleanup[edit]

I removed some NPOV language in the page and changed some. The original reference language was "The band are now considered pop-punk, with excessive use of synthetised guitars and voices. Yuk."

It was changed to "The band are now considered pop-punk, with considerable use of synthetised guitars and voices."

Genre[edit]

I'm going to add two more genres: "Pop punk" because it's the principal genre from Zebrahead and "Punk funk" because the early material was punk funk. Please don't remove this genres before posting an explanation here - Giusex27sc (talk) 23:09, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
