POV[edit]

Terms such as "acclaimed", "most successful", "striking statement", etc. must be sourced. They are subjective terms with no objective substance. -- Cain Mosni 11:45, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, there's no mention of Sykes getting HOE'D by Coverdale. Super oversight.

What?!

With Whitesnake[edit]

John Sykes did not participate in Slide it in album, came to Whitesnake in place of Micky Moody. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.48.224.184 (talk) 22:17, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

While he did not participate in the original UK recording, he re-recorded several parts for the US release. [IP didn't sign post]
Incorrect! Geffen records did not accept the album as mixed in the UK - they demanded a re-mix and Sykes overdubbing some guitar parts to give it a more 'modernized American' sound. The UK and US mixes and solos are different and the running order and song selections are different. 50.111.48.57 (talk) 03:27, 18 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
