95% of ancient philosophers were Greek; is there any value in separating these from Category:Ancient philosophers? Stan 06:30, 19 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Yes! What about Indian, Japanese and Chinese ancient philosophers? VivaEmilyDavies 00:23, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Yes indeed. There are Greek philosophers that are not ancient and there are many ancient philosophers, as VivaEmilyDavies suggests, that not Greek. Don't forget that they are sorted by era and/or nationality. Robin des Bois ♘ 04:04, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
