1812? Calgary wasn't founded for another 50 years, was it? alteripse 22:34, 2 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Remaing work to be done[edit]

Here's some of what I hope to have added, by me, or others. When reading the article, you'll note I was awfully vague on some things.

  • Did he do the stampede and his own non-Calgary stuff, at the same time. Or did he wait till he finished with the Stampede.
  • What is the exact date of his birth, and death. Where did he die?
  • What time period did he live in Wyoming, and where else did he live. Did he live in Calgary for the 20 years he ran the Stampede?
  • After founding it, what role, precisely did he have in running it. I'm sure he didn't run it by himself.
  • A picture would be nice too.
  • A bio box would be nice, but it wouldn't be complete.
  • More details post-Stampede would be helpful.
  • What differences did he have during running the Stampede with others, and what were the details of his departure. I prefer to get more sources than just another encyclopedia for this.

Rodeo performers[edit]

Hi RevelationDirect Just an FYI. Weadick was the founder of the Calgary Stampede. He was a rodeo organizer, thus he's in the Rodeo professionals category. He did not compete in any rodeo events, thus he does not belong in the Rodeo performer sub-categories. But thanks for trying to do the right thing. Rodeo performers is a diffusing category; it contains the rodeo events sub-categories, which is optimally where the contestants should go. Bull riders, saddle bronc riders, barrel racers, etc. Of course, if it can't be determined exactly what their event was, then we would put them in the top level category. Thanks a bunch for helping! Tom Three Persons did need added to the Saddle bronc riders category, so I saw that because of your edit. dawnleelynn(talk) 03:23, 29 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
