Archiving discussion from WP:CfD. Noel (talk) 14:33, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Also ironically unused. The only template using this is also unused and on WP:TFD. -- Beland 12:49, 27 Dec 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete with template, if that happens. --ssd 05:23, 6 Jan 2005 (UTC)
  • I would say keep. We need this, even if it's currently not being used. Noel (talk) 21:33, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)
At what point do projects become inactive? When can we say we have all articles for a particular subject, and they are all perfectly written? —Mike 05:48, Jan 10, 2005 (UTC)
I would say after about 6 months of activity, and never. A guideline for 'how long is inactive' would help. Richard001 07:40, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed WikiProject Jesus from this category as I'm sure we can generate some interest and intend to have a go. I couldn't find a procedure for doing this so I've just been bold and done it. Comments welcome. Andrewa 09:35, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

In my opinion, many of these inactive projects need to be put in MFD and deleted. If a project clearly has little to no activity, and no one has shown interest in a while: it shouldn't be around. RobJ1981 07:58, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Projects shouldn't just be deleted - not without serious thought, see the Introduction and criteria at MfD. Also, see my comments relevant to this atWikProject Council. Finally, the template doesn't seem to be working to add things here. See same discussion.--Doug.(talk contribs) 22:48, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I was wrong about the template, it is working, I goofed.--Doug.(talk contribs) 21:52, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Project[edit]

It probably doesn't really matter, but I don't see that this has anything to do with the Wikipedia Project, it's a category not an article aboutWikipedia. But it should be part of the Wikipedia Project Council, I won't change the other tag, that's their business - they at least ought to assess it NA though- but I will add ours.--Doug.(talk contribs) 10:06, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion of Inactive Projects going on at other pages[edit]

Please take notice, further discussion of inactive projects and the policies and guidelines regarding the same are taking place at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Council, Wikipedia:WikiProject_Council/Inactive_projects, Miscellany for Deletion AND Wikipedia:WikiProject reform. Current participants are discussing the need for centralizing this discussion, but until then, any interested parties should refer to all of the above pages.--Doug.(talk contribs) 21:46, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
