This article is meant to grow into a big list with all kinds of products. The article can be used to trace a oil-based product back to its origin: crude oil. It is an immense list, about everything you see around you is originally made from oil: plastics, medicine, energy etcetc.
please add more products and add their path to crude oil.
The list should be modelled as a huge tree, but I am not sure as how to do this in wiki language. Maybe someone can be of help here?

- It seems to largely be redundant with Petrochemical; I don't know enough to merge the two lists (if that is considered desirable), though. Kingdon (talk) 14:38, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
