This article is written in American English, which has its own spelling conventions (color, defense, traveled) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

Career[edit]

The "Career" section begins with Hollywood. Everything before that - vaudeville and Broadway - is under "Early Life." The lead, too, only mentions movies and TV specifically. All that should be under "Career." Groucho was 39 when he made his first movie, and had already been in show business for 24 years. That's longer than the Marx Brothers entire film career. late night TV[edit]

I'm watching the PBS show about Dick Cavett and Groucho and a lot of the things that today's late night TV hosts do, like Colbert and Kimmel, do, these things are copied straight from Groucho (who no doubt copied them in teh 1920s from burlesque and variety shows) eg that thing Kimmel does with an Hispanic guy who is nominally part of the crew ?
