Band memebrs timeline[edit]

I see absolutely no reason why a band members timeline can't be included. It doesn't hurt to include one. I want to see what others think about this. What Wikipedia guideline states a band member's lineup needs to be super complex for a timeline to be required? @Walter Görlitz: Is there a certain number of lineup changes required? I would agree with you that they don't need a timeline if this band had only one or no lineup changes. But, how are three lineup changes not enough? I see absolutely no reason why a band members timeline should be included. The prose do a sufficient job of explaining that there were three bass players, when they started and when they left. It's entirely superfluous. The fact that it ends six months from now is another problem. Walter Görlitz (talk) 06:51, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
For once I actually side with Walter. I don't know what guideline it is, or if there's a specific number, but from experience I do generally agree that consensus is that it is used for more extensively varied lineups. Personally I don't see three changes, particularly or at least of the same instrument, as warranting a timeline. What I take into consideration when adding a timeline is whether the amount of lineup changes makes the "Band members" section big enough so that it is difficult to track the different changes. I certainly don't think that happens with Chevelle. dannymusiceditor oops 07:15, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Progressive metal[edit]

Is Louder Sound calling La Gárgola progressive metal or saying that it almost is when they say "This prog metal sense sits behind songs written with a real sense of purpose, such as the bruising Jawbreaker."? I tried asking this on La Gárgola's talk page back back in January, but I never got a response. yawaraey (talk) 02:16, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Just a link[edit]

Not sure if they are Christian, but someone thought they were years ago. https://www.thelantern.com/2004/11/christian-rock-not-just-for-christians-anymore/ Not a source for Wiki, just a whiny college student mad at Switchfoot mostly! YouThinkDotCom (talk) 23:03, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
