Bode Miller controversy[edit]

This sentence -- "American skier Bode Miller was also a focus of controversy in his home country and Canada, where his actions were not considered in line with the Olympic spirit" -- does not appear to be supported by the source, at least the Canadian part. This is really just one columnist's perspective and doesn't appear, based on this single source, to reflect a broader controversy. Is there a source indicating that this was a larger controversy at these Olympics? I'm totally willing to believe that it was; I just don't think this source supports it, and I definitely don't think it supports the idea enough to put it in the intro of the section. Perhaps this should be moved to the "Disappointment (2006) section of Miller's own article, where any "controversy" isn't mentioned so far? 68.9.130.87 (talk) 19:37, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've taken it out. Certainly no place on the main 2006 Games page. -- Jonel (Speak to me) 19:47, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
