Title Change Needed: Metz Was a Film "Theorist" and Not a "Critic"[edit]
As the opening sentence of the article states, Metz was a "theorist". He was not a film "critic". As the film theory article explains, "Film theory is not to be confused with general film criticism, or film history, though these three disciplines interrelate."
