Glycyrrhizic acid vs. glycyrrhizin[edit]

@Zefr: I'm not sure if I made a mistake in my edit here: is glycyrrhizic acid not a synonym of glycyrrhizin? Jarble (talk) 16:17, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is, but the sugar substitute article is about a manufactured sweetener, not a sweet component of a food that may or may not have been related to a blood pressure effect. If there was a source that indicated glycyrrhizin had been extracted from licorice root, then studied directly for its effect on blood pressure, that would then be relevant. Allulose missing from the sweetness intensity tables[edit]

While allulose is noted under the "Types" section that it has about a 70% sweetness by weight compared with sucrose, the sweetener isn't listed at all in the sweetness intensity tables. It should likely be added to the plant-derived section. Beardiac (talk) 15:37, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
