(This article is compiled by Jorge D. Ocaña. Jorge used to be a resident of Pugalo, the northernmost barangay of Alcoy, bordering on Dalaguete. In 1989, his family moved to the city, but he has been going back and forth to his beloved town ocassionally for a short respite from the hustle and bustle of a city life. He loves the Tingko Beach so much that his visit to the town is not complete without swimming in Tingko Beach. In fact, he is planning to hold his wedding with his fiancee, Fritzel, in Tingko Beach in the summer of 2006.
