Adelaide University

Adelaide University is a proposed public research university located in Adelaide, South Australia which will be established through the integration of University of South Australia (UniSA) and University of Adelaide. The combined institution is proposed to formally come into existence in 2026.[1][2][3]

The agreement for the merger was made in July 2023 by the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide,[4] in consultation with the South Australia state government.[5] In November 2023 legislation passed state parliament enabling the creation of the new university.[6]
