Surili → Presbytis – Similar to issues brought to an eventual move to the page Trachypithecus, "surili" is not the name of all species of the genus Presbytis, alternate names also include "langur" and "leaf monkey." Recent Google Scholar results suggest that there is no one common name for members of this genus, so the page should therefore be moved to Presbytis. A disambiguation page for "surili" could also be used. PrimalMustelid (talk) 14:20, 18 December 2023 (UTC)

- Support - I think this was a residue from years ago when we tried to give a common name to all genera and surili was probably suggested by MSW3, which was our main source for mammal common names at the time. But a common name that doesn't at least approximate a one-to-one mapping of the relevant species is less helpful than not using a common name at all. Surili can still be redirected to Presbytis, as I think all the species (or certainly almost all) whose common name is surili are members of this genus. Rlendog (talk) 19:12, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
