Article too big[edit]

I see tag removed again. We will be by this page in a few weeks. Moxy- 22:23, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

At 140kB, the entire page is grossly overlength. Splits need considering. Iskandar323 (talk) 10:51, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Also consider the length (definitely excessive, given the subject matter) of the United States page. JackkBrown (talk) 00:19, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

JackkBrown, the readable prose size of that article is less than half of this one. (But either way, if you'd like to propose changes to that article, it should be discussed at that article's talk page). Nikkimaria (talk) 04:52, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Lowercase[edit]

In this article it would be excellent to check "north Italy", "northern Italy", "south Italy", "southern Italy" and "central Italy", the first word must be written with a lowercase initial letter (as it's written here); I have already corrected many of them. Copy editing with good intentions[edit]

@User:Denisarona, Please donot revert the edits. The edits are being done with good objectives for improvement. Thankyou Learnerktm (talk) 14:40, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The edits sufficiently may not significantly improve, but the minor grammatical errors have been edited with best of the knowledge. Learnerktm (talk) 14:43, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Learnerktm. I understand what you are saying, but the article states that British English is to be used and some of your changes removed British English. Regards Denisarona (talk) 14:44, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I will remember that. I will change text into British English wherever I see, thankyou. Learnerktm (talk) 14:57, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The Pelagie islands are listed as exclaves of Italy, but that is not correct according to the definition. Islands whether belonging to another continent or not are not exclaves. But even if we really went by that definition, not all Pelagie islands don't belong to Italy geographically/orographically speaking. Linosa does belong. Only Lampedusa and Lampione are doubtful.

The situation is not comparable to Spain's one that has Canary Islands thousands of kilometres ways. Or the ones in front of Northern Moroccan coast 78.208.29.116 (talk) 13:56, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Shadow311 (talk) 15:15, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Italy is a regional state.[edit]

Italy is a regional state not an unitary state. The regions have political power of making laws concerning the subjects defined by the constitution. Art 117 Italian constitution. So the the government form Must change to regional parlamantelary Republic. Conforx (talk) 11:13, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a source supporting this change? Nikkimaria (talk) 11:49, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
