Main topic?[edit]

I've been working for a while on galley. During my work on that topic, I've looked at this dabpage a number of times, and by now I'm starting to believe it's not really that helpful to the casual reader. Modern sports rowing has clearly taken precedence over all other types of rowing, even to the extent that sub-topics are considered to be just as important as main topics.

As far as I can tell, watercraft rowing is an article about all kinds of rowing in general. It could encompass everything from 21st century Olympic rowing to Ancient galley rowing. The rest of the links are really nothing but highly specific types of rowing or sports (and one completely unrelated homograph). So why not make this the main article and move this dabpage to rowing (disambiguation)?
