There is no point in subdividing this category for the sake of politics. Grouping all cities on the island of Ireland is the best way to do things, as it is an essentially geographical feature.
Some input from our Northern friends is needed though, they may not agree. Perhaps the Northern Ireland ones can remain in a subcategory, and the RoI ones stay in this one? zoney♣talk 15:46, 19 Oct 2004 (UTC)
No subcategories for one country and not another - is it really neccessary to create a division because a) their are few cities on the Island b) independent Ireland has never created any new cities? Djegan 19:37, 19 Oct 2004 (UTC)
