Cause of Death[edit]
a biography isn't complete without information about cause of death. please add. Kingturtle 01:42 May 6, 2003 (UTC)
Well, I came to clean up a smidge of vandalism on the dates, but I'll add the cause of death as well. I have read that he died of TB, but the more thorough (Elwin) account of his death says hemorrhaging from a "chronic ulcer in the descending part of the duodenum." As I understand it, peptic ulcers and TB are reasonably common bedfellows so I guess this makes sense. That said I'm obviously not going to do any speculating. Reve (talk) 07:54, 18 July 2013 (UTC)
