Untitled[edit]

The history is not acurated. Llívia remains under the Generalitat domains because of it's a vila and no a poble or ciutat that was about the trety spoke about. Llull 13:01, 24 Jun 2004 (UTC)

currency[edit]

Before the euro, what currency was used? Spanish peseta or French franc? --ChoChoPK (球球PK) (talk | contrib) 06:40, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

both. You could use either currency Francs or Pesetas. But there's only a few places in which money would be useful. Barely half a dozen of shops. I used to hike there all the time with my US friends. They'd get a kick out of the "we're in Spain, no we're in France. Now in Spain... Now in France" etc.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.58.147.83 (talk) 02:08, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WWII[edit]

Could somebody explain Llívia's situation during WWII, please? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 10:07, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Language[edit]

What do people actually speak there? Catalan? Correctrix (talk) 13:43, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Correctrix: yes, there is some Spanish spoken but like most of the non-Barcelona areas of Catalonia the dominant language is Catalan. Jxlarb (Talk to me) 14:06, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
