False information/ Every single word written about the Pre-Islamic history of Iraqi Kurdistan is inaccurate / requesting for rewriting this section

Dears,

the section about the pre-Islamic history of Iraqi Kurdistan is filled with very obvious outdated, incorrect and inaccurate data. Almost all the information written in this article is against the information written in other articles on Wiki and recent scholarship.

Please re write the page or at least delete it until an independent Wikipedia user edits it.

Historical facts:

1- The Kurdistan region was not part of Assyria until after 1350 BCE. Since there was no Assyria before 1365 BCE but the city of Assur which locates in modern Salhadin province and its outside of Iraqi Kurdistan. It should not be on this page.

Regarding Old Assyrian Period: Shamshi Adad didn't build "Old Assyrian Empire" and he didn't name his empire Assyria, this term was used by early Assyriologists and and now its rejected by modern Assyrilogists and recent scholarship and its replaced with kingdom of Upper Mesopotamia. And his kingdom only lasted for 25 years:

2- Kurdistan Region was known as Subartu and it was under the rule of the kingdom of Kurda from Early Bronze Age until it came under the rule of the Mittanians and it was entirely inhabited by non Semitic Hurrian-Speaking Surbarians.

Another Source that Upper Land/Mesopotamia (Iraqi Kurdistan) was under the rule of the kingdom of Kurda: "Kurda resisted the Elamite attempt of controlling the area of the upper land."

the Iraqi and parts of Syrian Kurdistan were known as Kurda NOT Assyria, according to historical sources.

3- Asuristan, Athur, Athura etc were used to designate southern and Middle parts Iraq. please see the wikipedia pages for the information goes against the Wikipedia articles and every independent historical sources.

For Athur and other toponyms please see the latest research below, the Roman province of Athur was never formed and it was not in Irai Kurdistan.

4- Erbil and Ninevah, Shubat Enlili, Arrapha were not built by the Assyrians but by Sumerians and Hurrians, and Hurrian speaking Subarians.

Guys there is something called Google Books, it takes you just 1 hour to know these historical facts.

This is true. This page is bogus and is being locked to spread misinformation. Let the people who actually know that region put up the facts. Hi my very dear Anonymoosy13, well yes everybody is allowed to edit wikipedia, but some articles might be a bit compromised due to some editorial conflict. You should write that Peshmerga occupied Kurdistan regions were controlled by Iran from year 1970 to 2005, from 2005 it belongs to Iraq, since Khamenei sold that region to Jalal Talabani, who then sworn as the new president of Iraq. 155.137.27.93 (talk) 16:10, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
