This was tagged for speedy deletion by User:212.219.207.40, without citing a reason. I don't think it needs to be deleted, but I don't know enough about Harry Potter to know if this is a valid article or not, so I'm listing it here. – Quadell ^{(talk) (help)}[[]] 14:57, Dec 7, 2004 (UTC)

• This user is one of a group of 4 IPs (212.219.207.40/1/2/3) who have been all reprimanded for mass vandalism: they seem to cruise around as a group. The article looks quite valid so I think it's merely been the victim of a vandal attack --Phil | Talk 18:19, Dec 7, 2004 (UTC)

• Delete: It could even be a speedy delete. As someone who has read all five of the books, I never saw "kneazles" anywhere. I remember the cat well, but there was never any explanation of why it was so ornery. As for this coming from some expanded universe thing, look what it claims: from a thing "ultimately by JK Rowling." Ultimately by? All proceeds go to some of the poorest children in the world? Is it an ad? Who are these children? Everyone is someone's child, after all. If it really comes from some Rowling-authorized thingie, then the most would be a redirect alone. Her novels are notable, but "guides to fabulous beasts" are just members of the entourage around the star; like them, they have borrowed fame. Geogre 19:51, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • No, the book that this was taken from was indeed written by Rowling and is considered 'canon', and I believe that the proceeds of the book went to charity, not that it has any relevance.
