Why is this page here?[edit]

Why is this article necessary? The National park article is already well-developed and National Park Service covers the particulars of the U.S. park system. Rmhermen 01:36, Dec 2, 2004 (UTC)

I doubt it is necessary. My vote is for a redirect to National Park Service. By the way, American gov't organizations usually don't mix United States and National. So National Park system of the United States is more proper than U.S. National Park system. Eoghanacht 20:59, 2005 Apr 8 (UTC)

i agree. -aptpupil79. also, the parks pass is now $80, not $50.

Redirect[edit]

It seems that most articles, link to this page to use it as a dictionary definiton, I link it would be better to re-direct this page to national park I am currently working on a re-write of the National Park Service article, that will include much of what is here

Any Objections?07:10, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

No objection from me. Please note that the article is actually lower case -- "national park" or "National park" rather than "National Park" (I changed your link above). Also, don't forget to check for redirects. — Eoghanacht talk 14:09, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

List?[edit]

See how the German Wikipedia California article [1] (scroll down) has a neat list of parks, nicely presented, and happily seen here.
