Added some ship classes[edit]

I've added some ship classes from other cultures to Starship class. Do you think that this message should be redefined as Starfleet-only, the new ones should be added in some way that distinguishes them by culture, or the new ones should just be added like any other class? -- Djinn112 02:02, Mar 19, 2004 (UTC)

Honestly, I think it should just keep Starfleet classes, although I wouldn't object to putting in other cultures' classes so long as they were kept separate (see, for example, msg:startrek, which separates television and movies). -Branddobbe 04:53, Mar 19, 2004 (UTC)

This is starting to look cumbersome. How about something like this?:

Star Trek starship classes

My markup for the subtable probably isn't Wiki-standard, though. -- Djinn112 18:59, Mar 19, 2004 (UTC)

I'll repeat what I asked[edit]

I'll repeat what I asked on Talk:NX class starship - I don't think NX is a pre-Federation class ship...does it not just refer to experimental ships? The USS Prometheus in Voyager's "Message in a Bottle" was also an NX ship, for example (I'm sure there have been other on-screen examples of NX ships as well). Also, is "NX" really a class? It's just a registry prefix, if anything. Adam Bishop 02:32, 25 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Question[edit]

I see Akira on the edit page, but why is it not visible on the actual template? Alyeska 00:11, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
