Untitled[edit]

How is Jules Barthélemy-Saint-Hilaire related to Marie Belloc Lowndes ? What does this line mean : "He does not say who his mother was, but that he was related to her grandfather." Jay 08:28, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Unqualified autor[edit]

If there is no source as to who gave birth to Jules how could we know the identity of the father? How can we know the father of someone but not the mother? The only possible way would be if the father toke care of a child and called it his own, after wich the sources about the mother was destroyed. (Maybe by a younger sibling...) This is probably not the case: Napoléon I had two other illegitemate children but he did not take care of them. I have only heard of four children in his nuclear famlily: Eugène, Hortense, Stéphanie and Napoléon François. Eugène and Hortense were Joséphine de Beauharnais' children from a pevious marrige. Stéphanie was a first cousin Joséphine had care of when she married Napoléon. Napoléon François was his son with his second wife Marie-Louise von Habsburg. The autor don't seem to know enough about Jules to write an article. I think this should be replaced with a stub.
