Hi, thanks for pointing out the mistake with the image for Broomfield County, Colorado. The two images I used as sources are from the 1990 census and the 2000 census. I looked at the smaller version you pointed me towards, and compared it with my 2003 road atlas, so I see where it belongs. Has this county been recently created? I will try to add it into the maps as best I can. Please let me know if you find a better (larger) outline map that shows this county more clearly, since it's hard to make out on my atlas. Hi, I've made a few changes to White Dolphin, to bring it into line with dolphin, Cetacea and the other dolphin articles. From the scientific name, it must be the Chinese White Dolphin, so I've moved it to that name. It's probably more commonly known now as the Indo-Pacific Hump-backed Dolphin, so I've put that as a redirect. I've also created a link from dolphin. I hope this is OK, Jim

Thanks! Got a nice new scanner for my bday, got lots of obscure little paper artifacts to illustrate pages with. Not sure what you're asking re 1889s, the underlying stamp is a generic French Colonies. I don't have a postal history ref for Indochina, but they probably ran out of 5c, a regular occurrence in remote places, and surcharged their 35c values because it was the least popular denomination and thus there were plenty on hand (other colonies also seemed to choose the 35c first), adding colony name and bosses' initials out of pure randomness. But that's just a guess; perhaps I can hit the philatelic section at the Sunnyvale library (it's quite extensive) the next time I visit the mothership aka Apple corp hq :-) . The stuff you restored somehow slipped from your view and is now in double in the page. I think you were perhaps slightly bold in immediately thinking the worse from another editor. Did you have any problem with him that you immediately think the worse has been done and threaten a ban ? The image for DeKalb County, Illinois is Image:Map of Illinois highlighting Dekalb County.png (lowercase K). Seems to be a rare problem caused by the ambiguity in the map I used as a source, which does not do camel-case inside county names except for i.e. McHenry. Probably harmless to leave the lowercase in the image name, but feel free to move it to the proper name if you want. Also, according to that map, and to the 2000 US census, it's "De Witt", with a space (and, having grown up in central IL, I'm fairly sure that's how they spell it locally also); perhaps DeWitt County, Illinois should be moved. Thanks for catching those. Thanks also for all your hard work in inserting the images into articles! Ram-Man seems to have gotten busy with other things, and I doubt Rambot would have kindly informed me of the missing/broken images as you have done. Well, I've moved DeWitt to De Witt (and found that several pages were already linking to that spelling), but now I'm not so sure. Google searching turned up more than twice as many results for "DeWitt" as for "De Witt"; sometimes it's even "Dewitt". The county (and city) are named for DeWitt Clinton, which would seem to indicate the no-space spelling. I've no idea which is more correct, but I'd be tempted to go with what the US Census uses, which is "De Witt." I wouldn't exactly characterize Hipparchos as "fixed up"; what it mainly was was a re-arragement of the paragraphs of the other one. (There were some additions, I moved those before making the redirect). Nor would I really call Hipparchus "broken" (although it could use some work, and had a lot of grammar problems that I think I mostly fixed).

The main thing is that first of all, we do not need two Wikipedia articles on the same person. What needs to be fixed in the Hipparchus article can be done in the existing article. Second, "Hipparchos" does not meet the criteria for naming conventions as it is a comparatively rare spelling in English, so it needs to be a redirect.

Hephaestos, the contributions origianally made by 66.235.39.157, were legitamate. The source of this information was a program about Pat Robertson on Court TV. This user obviously started vadalising because you were reverting thier contributions. It is quite disturbing to me that you are abusing your admin powers in this manner. Location of country maps[edit]

Hi, I noticed you moved the map from Tuvalu to the Geography of Tuvalu page. I was wondering why, because I think they should be on both pages. I am currently in the progress of adding the CIA Factbook maps to all country pages (for instance, see Guinea or Liberia, and everywhere I have added them to the main country and the geography page, since I think a map gives a good picture of the location of the country. I had to revert Pope John Paul I; User:Error made some changes which I simply could not make head or tail of and which in some cases completely changed the meaning of whole paragraphs. (It wasn't deliberate. I wonder if he is a native english speaker!) After half an hour of attempted rewrites I gave up and reverted. I've been leaving a note on the talk page.
