I wonder, why exactly when I type Sebastian Bach, I come to this page and not to Johann Sebastian Bach's? Is it just for the Johann, was it considered this one was more searched/relevant? What was it? I just wonder, because I would think, without disrespecting Skid Row fans, that the classical composer is more "notable". Ain't it recentism to make that big a deal of this Sebastian? --Clementduval 11:22, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Try search for "Apache" on Google. You looking for indians? No, virtually all of the top links are for the web server. 208.97.218.10 20:30, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is it necessary to point out parenthetically that Sebastian Bierk is not related to Johann Sebastian Bach? That's usually only assumed when people have the same surname. For instance, it isn't specified that Sebastian Cabot is not related to JSB.

  • I agree. That's just stupid. --Berserk798 23:19, 14 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
    • I think it becomes an issue because he legally changed his name to Sebastian Bach. Therefore, they do have the same surname.

Sebastian Bach also performed the vocals for the 2nd Frameshift album "An Absence of Empathy" see: [1]

How did his parents remarry in 05'if his dad died in 02'? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.60.221.25 (talk) 14:29, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

People generally don't refer to him as "BAZ", rather just "Sebastian Bach". The nickname is just for those that know him well. Also at the May 14th GNR show, he jumped on stage for My Michelle. You're Crazy was not played. (Although SB may have sung the words "you're crazy" as he jumped on stage - the song wasn't played.)

The Bottle Incident[edit]

Sometime around 1992 he was involved in a fight - someone threw a bootle at him while he was performing, and a few minutes later he jumped off stage into the crowd and wound up seriously hurting a girl. Was on MTV news. I was expecting to find something about that here. 208.97.218.10 20:32, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

the comment under the picture[edit]

the comment reads: "Sebastian Bach identifies his elbow, 2006." omfg that is hilarious. hahahah.

It should been "Sebastian Bach identifies a wart on his elbow, given by one of his skanks, 2006" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.47.15.38 (talk) 20:30, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Poison[edit]

sw I removed a line in the part where it says "Poison has sold over 25 million records and continues to sell out arenas every summer."" It reminded me of what you had to do in school, the pick out the sentence that doesnt belong. 71.51.88.205 (talk) 18:31, 3 April 2008 (UTC) Ganon391[reply]

Opening for GNR on upcoming tour[edit]

The Live Nation site has Bach and Danko Jones opening up for GNR on the upcoming tour (2010 Candian dates), but I didn't know what to use as the source. I just sourced to the Guns N' Roses ticket page, but it doesn't really mention the openers unless you click on 'get info' for each individual date. Someone should probably fix it the best they can. —Preceding unsigned comment added by KILLER BOB11694 (talkcontribs) 19:41, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

1996 - Departure from Skid Row[edit]

From this interview with Bach himself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9XANJa20Ek&t=3m53s He did not leave because of a disagreement over whether the band was too big to open for kiss or not. He was fired from the band for refusing to play songs he didn't like. See: http://bravewords.com/news/sebastian-bach-on-his-split-from-skid-row-i-was-100-fired-from-the-band. I have edited that subsection of Departure from Skid Row to reflect this.

When did SB leave Skid Row - when was the "too big for KISS" incident? The "post Skid Row" section starts at 1993, but I definitely saw Skid Row with Bach play in 1993 at Calder Park in Melbourne (BRILLIANT). I think 1993 is too early to start "Post-Skid Row".

There's an interview with Rachel Bolan in "Metal News" which suggests he played his last gig with them in '96. I think that's a better date.

AND -- get this -- that all the Skid Row band members have been opening for KISS since 1998 left right and centre! but under a different band name because they weren't doing any Skid Row songs. That deserves a mention in the whole incident. So where does the bit about SB booking the KISS show and leaving the band come from? I'm starting to think it's dodgy.

Date of birth[edit]

The info box says he was born in 1962, the topic "early life" says 1968. Can anyone verify either? Snikburz (talk) 18:51, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Battle With the Bottle Song?[edit]

I'm not comfortable adding it myself, but I think someone should note the country song single he did after winning Gone Country, "Battle with the Bottle". It's available still on iTunes. AbsolutGrndZer0 (talk) 16:18, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of Citations[edit]

How does this content get approved with such lack of citations / sources? Of course we all know Sebastian, at least if you're reading this you do, but it still doesn't leave room for a lack of reference to what is said on his Wiki page. A lot of people believe Wiki is a sort of encyclopedia or "go to" reference, we should make it that way.Reddoggzz (talk) 00:31, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Associated acts[edit]

In keeping with the Infobox guidelines, I doubt that all the listed "Associated acts" are correct. - FlightTime (open channel) 18:42, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
