If the article "expert" and "expertise" are merged, why not make a quick outline of the merged organization of the "expert" article, thereby suplimenting the article with "textbook style" organization as well as length? The seperate terms are valuable each with their own explanation, though merging article seems reasonable. So does the link to the wiki-dictionary.

Actually I think this is very much NPOV - there is a well established literature on bases of power and expert power (alongside legitimate power, referent power etc. However, this point is given too much weight and is too peripheral in any substantive discussion of expertise. There is now a very developed body of research on expertise in the social sciences se for example Anders Ericsson, Charness. Feltovich, and Hoffman(2006)'The Cambridge Handbook of Expertise and Expert Performance' Cambridge: Cambridge University Press. When I get the time I will happily do some work on expanding this page (unless someone beats me to it)on the basis of the established social science literature user: Markoc
