A somewhat odd addition

An anon recently added "The local slogan es ´´Vallekas por la kara´´" I've brought that over here to talk, because it is really quite unclear.

1. Without a translation/explanation this doesn't mean much. "Kara" is not a Spanish word. I assume that along the pattern of Vallecas ==> Vallekas it is to be read as "cara" (face), but so what? "Vallecas for the face"? Like zits or what?
2. In what sense is this "the local slogan"? Something the schoolkids say, or what?
3. Is there any documentation for this beyond the word of one anonymous contributor?

And another: "Famous is the park of the Seven Boobies, named formerly for its simmilarity with a boob". If there is a park that is locally so known, please indicate the real name of the park and produce at least some documentation that it is known as this; in particular, what is the Spanish name by which it is known, since I doubt it has an English-language nickname. - Jmabel | Talk 05:44, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

Aclarations... by a Vallekan

First of all, ´Vallekas, por la kara´, is a motto which maybe translated (in a far way) like "Vallekas, without shame", the literal translation is "Vallekas, by the face" in fact, like a joke, "by the face" with this exact words and in english, is very used in spain, like other stupid literal translations like "from lost to the river" or the spanish word for jogging: "footing". Por la cara can be used, in an example: And that guy? i hope he isnt thinking in enter "by the face", he must wait the cole.

"las 7 tetas, is the popular name of "El Cerro del Tio pío", "Tío Pío" (uncle Pío) was the name of a poor vallekan man, who feed and host in his house other poor man, this park was before a "vertedero ilegal" but it was covered with cement, land and grass, it is a usual local vallekan place for Botellón, over it has been a lot ofs fights between latin kings and left spanish gruops, cause the latins try to steal the people while they is drunk, ahh! its at the back of my house, more: http://maps.google.es ->"cerro del tío pío"

Symbol

No indication of why the symbol is supposed to be encyclopedic. I've asked at commons:User_talk:159357, the user talk page of the person who uploaded it. Unless an explanation is forthcoming, it should be removed. - Jmabel | Talk 03:44, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Since the uploader claims the symbol as his/her own work, it is unlikely to be of encyclopedic significance. Removing it unless there is evidence of significance. - Jmabel | Talk 05:45, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
