Untitled[edit]

One of my favourite all time rock gigs! caught them live on the UK leg of this world tour and they where awaesome!

"as the original 1992 broadcast of these songs from Cabo Wabo"

I'm not sure what this means as the location of the concert recording is Fresno, CA (listen to the break in Panama. Sam makes a reference to being off the previous night, sitting around in Fresno with nothing to do). I saw them there in '95 and they made reference to the last time they were here was to record the live album. Stormwysper 22:41, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And neither of your comments has anything to do with the article, which could get you blocked or banned or, at a minimum, a really nasty comment from one of the admins. The talk page is no place for a discussion! FiggazWithAttitude (talk) 15:15, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move or merge[edit]

This was listed on WP:RM as the target of a move from a duplicate article. However this article seems both the better name (as the nomination implied) and the better article. There is perhaps a little to merge at most. It's now gone through the normal five day period, and there have been no comments apart from the initial listing:

Van Halen: Right Here, Right Now - LiveLive: Right Here, Right Now#Home Video --Added home video section to original articel, no need to for 2 separate articles for same productCosprings (talk) 04:53, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ISTM that nobody has even looked at the proposal, not even to notice that the proposal was incomplete. There seems no point relisting it. Instead I will be bold and redirect the duplicate article here; This seems the obvious solution and should I think be uncontroversial.

Entire content of the redirected page (track listing, categories and infobox removed) was:

A collection of live concert footage (from the Hagar era of the band) during the 1991-1992 For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge Tour. The footage was filmed with 15 cameras over two nights in May 1992 and mixed together, with the bulk of the footage and music coming from the second night. The DVD is single-sided but dual-layer format, running approximately 120 minutes long. The only non-musical items are optional subtitles or closed captioning (DVD) plus a brief clip of each performer (not in concert) talking about music in general. 15 of the songs here were part of the 24 recordings from the live double-CD album with the addition of two songs which weren't on the audio album: The Dream Is Over and Eagles Fly. The 15 songs from both the film and album are generally the same, but there are notable differences, particularly Eddie Van Halen's guitar playing and his solo "316", in which he makes several mistakes.

Maybe there's something there to merge to this article? Andrewa (talk) 00:26, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Van Halen - Live-Right Here, Right Now.jpg[edit]

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. some wrong information[edit]

Won't Get Fooled Again-the video that is referenced in the article was actually shot during a European promotional taping for the album. The band performed 2 songs for this-Dreams and Wont'Get Fooled Again, the version on the album is different.

The Fresno concert (which most of this footage is taken from) was originally aired as a westwood one radio special. The special had some live performaances by Sammy Hagar and Micheal Anthony live from the Cabo Wabo Cantina, then they would cut to some of the fresno performance12.111.232.166 (talk) 17:05, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"The then-current album, For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge is very well represented, with ten of the twenty four songs originally featured on that album." As far as I know, there are eleven cuts on that album.--Alvabass (talk) 21:33, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
